Albums Project

I love learning about music and the artists who create it. While spending time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to take a more active role in my musical education. I began compiling a list of artists and genres that I wanted to become more familiar with, reaching out to friends and family for their suggestions. To learn more about this music, I began listening to complete albums – thus, the Albums Project was born.

I started keeping track of the albums I've listened to on January 24, 2021. Since then, I have listened to over 300 albums – a number I regularly add to. This project has no end date; rather, I hope to continue a lifelong pursuit of learning about and enjoying music.

I have kept track of albums listened to through an instagram account (@projectalbumsproject) and on a Spotify playlist containing my favorite track from each record. Both are linked below.

My favorite album so far has been Hunky Dory by David Bowie.
