Prints
I stumbled upon printmaking as a junior while searching for a creative outlet to augment my study of social science as an undergrad. I was drawn to the graphic nature of prints as well as the endless creative possibilities that different layers, methods, and mediums allow and quickly fell in love with the printing process. A successful print requires both precise craftsmanship as well as fluid creativity; a marriage that fits well with my artistic style. I hugely enjoy the hands-on, multi-stepped process of printmaking. As an undergrad, I took all available print classes (beginner through advanced) and learned both relief and screen printing styles. Below is a sample of my print work. Please email emmastaiger@gmail.com with inquiries about purchasing original prints.
